Brief

Design a responsive CMS website for Ghaelcholáiste Charraig Uí Leighin. Multi-lingual with Irish the Primary language, English the Secondary language, not using online auto-translate software. Add College Prospectus as online book with turning pages,use custom font Libre Baskerville for heading text to maintain brand consistency. Upload enrolment forms for parents of new pupils to download and fill in to register, add description of College Facilities, images of College, links to social media to promote the website.

Solution

Responsive WordPress website, multilingual functions enabled with Polylang plugin, installing language files for both languages into the WordPress database, allowing creation of separate Irish and English language pages with the ability to switch between both languages, without any auto-correcting of spelling or grammar by the User’s browser.

Created online book layout with Photo Book Gallery. Added function to display custom Google Font: Libre Baskerville with plugin Easy Google Fonts, installed WordPress SEO by Yoast plugin for improved SEO for Pages and Posts, Twitter timeline integration, Contact form page with Google Map.
